Players are placed on a team who loses a player from its original roster. If you refuse to join that team you will be dropped to the bottom of the waitlist for that division. NO EXCEPTIONS! The waitlist is dropped after week 3 of the season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can I pay for registration fees?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can pay online through credit card or EMT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How much does it cost to register a player?<\/strong><br \/>\nFor the 2025 season it will be $405 to register a player.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to I get a receipt\/reissue a receipt?<\/strong><br \/>\nAnyone paying by credit card will be issued an immediate receipt via Stripe. <strong>Keep your receipts for your records<\/strong>. Any receipt reprint\/reissue at a later date will be subject to a $10 replacement fee (no exceptions).<\/p>\n<p><strong>When is the registration cut off date?<\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration deadline is September 30th, 2025. Any registrations after this is subject to an additional $25 late fee. We can close the online system before this date if the league fills up. We will begin placing players on teams at that time, and there will be NO exceptions to the rule. If you register before the deadline and are waitlisted, your registration is still valid until you get added to a team or the waitlist is dropped after week 3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I register more than one player at a time?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can register as many players as you&#8217;d like online as long as a payment is made at the time of registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can my child play up an age group or down an age group?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe league DOES NOT only allows kids to play up an age group (unless extenuating circumstance) and the age group in which you fall is based on the YEAR you were born, not school year. You are NOT allowed to play down an age group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I put in a request to play with certain players?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo. Due to problems from the 2017 season we have removed this option going forward. <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Do NOT<\/strong> <\/span>ask via email or phone as no requests will be granted REGARDLESS OF ANY SITUATION.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-2chhm-95e5468b82b26d14cb2e3f9ac022d643'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Teams<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>How many players can play on a team?<\/strong><br \/>\nA normal flag football team usually has 10-12 players, however, depending on the total number of players registered in a division, some teams may have less than 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a maximum number of teams in each age division?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes and No, there is never a limit of how many teams will be in a division, if there is a multitude of teams we will create divisions to make scheduling more manageable. On Saturdays, the first games will always start at 9:00am with the second game following at the same location until all groups have played. After that teams will play games only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where will we practice?<\/strong><br \/>\nTeams will practice twice at The Den for two hours before the season starts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Will everyone I play with be from the same part of the city?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe do try our best to put teams together that are from the same area, however, sometimes it&#8217;s not possible as it is dependent on registration numbers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I need to be certified to coach?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo. You must be certified in Respect in Sport, which is a 2 hour online course <a href=\"https:\/\/sasksrc.respectgroupinc.com\/secure\">https:\/\/sasksrc.respectgroupinc.com\/secure<\/a>. If you have already completed this course with another sport you must log in and add Football as a sport to your file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can we put in a request for a certain NFL team name and logo for our jerseys?<\/strong><br \/>\nJersey colors, teams and logos are not decided by our league. Teams are automatically assigned their team name by the NFL Flag Program inventory that is provided to us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do I need for my child to play flag?<\/strong><br \/>\nYour child will be issued a jersey and shorts, which are theirs to keep at the end of the season. They can wear cleats (no metal spikes or studs cleats) or runners for footwear. NO Flipflops, Slides, Sanuks or Crocs are allowed to be played in. All these aforementioned equipment is provided to you in your registration fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if I selected the wrong clothing size for my child, can I get it changed?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes, <strong>IF<\/strong> we have a replacement available in our very limited inventory. If we have to order one there is a charge of $60.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If my child doesn&#8217;t like flag\/I want to withdraw, can I get a refund?<\/strong><br \/>\nFrom the start of registration to the start of the season fees will be returned less a $125 withdrawal fee. After game 1 fees will be returned less a $200 withdrawal fee.
