Mission Statement

With the Elite Female Flag Football program, our mission is to empower and inspire young female athletes in Regina and area, by providing an elite platform for skill development, teamwork, and leadership through the game of flag football. We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, dedication, and perseverance, intending to compete at the highest national levels and ultimately pave the way for female athletes to represent Canada on the world stage, including the Olympics. Our team aims to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a legacy for the next generation of competitive female athletes, ensuring that they have the opportunity, support, and resources to reach their fullest potential

League Overview

The Elite Female Flag Football League is designed to provide a competitive and structured environment for high school female athletes to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and foster a community of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Evaluation/Tryout Days (Pre Season) – Cost $60

Date: June 24, 25, 26 – minimum attendance of one evaluation.
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm (3 x 1.5-hour evaluation sessions)
Purpose: Assess players’ skills and athleticism to ensure balanced teams.
Activities: Drills, scrimmages, and skill assessments by experienced coaches.
Draft: The Head Coaches, partnered with U of R Cougar Women’s Flag Football Team Players, will draft four teams of 12 players / team based on evaluation rankings from the tryouts.

Evaluation registration opens May 1. If your daughter is passionate about flag football and ready to take the next step, we’d love to see her on the field this fall!

Season Overview – Cost $350

The season spans 5 weeks and includes 8 structured sessions, blending elite level practice with gameplay. All sessions are held at the Regina Rugby Fields from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
- September 6 – 7: League Kickoff – orientation, team building, and skill development
- September 13 – 14: Skill development+ Team practices + Games
- September 20 – 21: Skill development + Team practices + Games
- September 28: Team practices + Games
- October 5: Final practice, Semi-Finals, Championship Game, MVP Awards, and League Social
Each session is led by trained coaches with a strong emphasis on athlete safety, sportsmanship, and individual growth.

What Parents Can Expect

- A competitive environment for all players to play against top female players week in and week out
- A safe and professionally run league designed for athlete development
- Coaching by qualified local coaches
- Focus on skill building, teamwork, and leadership
- A positive, inclusive environment for female athletes to compete and grow
- Potential to be selected for a traveling All-Star team for extended competition in the US in January & February 2026
