More Than a League, A Global Mission!

The Regina Youth Flag Football League (RYFFL) is more than just a league! It’s a movement. While we take immense pride in growing the game here at home, our vision stretches far beyond our own provincial and national borders. We believe flag football is a global game, one that should be accessible to every child, no matter where they live or what resources they have.

That’s why RYFFL has dedicated itself to humanitarian efforts that bring flag football to disadvantaged communities across the world. From Africa to Central America and the Caribbean, our mission is clear: to empower youth through sport, creating opportunities, friendships, and a lifelong love for the game!

Bringing Flag Football to the World!

Through the generosity of our league, its players, families, and supporters, we have been able to deliver essential equipment and resources to underprivileged communities across the globe. Our donations have included:

✅ Jerseys & Shorts – Providing proper gear for teams to play with pride.

Africa

In regions across Africa, where sports play a crucial role in community building, RYFFL has provided equipment and educational materials to introduce flag football in schools and youth programs. The game has become a source of joy, teamwork, and hope for many children who have never had the chance to play before.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a country with a rich sports culture, and flag football is quickly becoming part of it. Thanks to our efforts, more young athletes are now able to play the game, fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Jamaica

Jamaican youth have embraced flag football with enthusiasm. Through our support, schools and community centers have been able to set up leagues, giving kids a safe, structured, and fun way to stay active and build confidence.

Sudan

In Sudan, where sports can provide an escape from hardship, flag football has become a beacon of hope and inclusion. By donating equipment and educational materials, RYFFL is helping to create opportunities where they are needed most.

Guatemala

In Guatemala, where access to organized sports can be limited, our donations have helped establish local leagues and provide children with a positive outlet for growth and development. With rule books translated into Spanish, we’ve empowered coaches and volunteers to teach the game effectively.
